R17 side 1

Only 450 R17s were produced over a two-year period. This machine was BMW's supersports model with 33hp, a figure only surpassed by the R68 in 1972. The Steib sidecar, styled possibly to resemble Zeppelin airships, is a Nurnberg model. This is an extremely rare machine, reputed to be one of only four remaining worldwide.
