This is a replica of Gene Romero’s factory built road racer. Romero raced to two second places in the 1970 and 1971 Daytona 200. Although a replica, it was built by Rob North, legendary chassis constructor, who built the original team bikes for BSA/Triumph. These machines had a brief spell of glory, being very successful in the F-750 and production races until the Yamaha TZ 350 and 750 appeared on the scene which made these four strokes obsolete.
