We first laid eyes on Dime City Cycles’ Triumph Bonneville-based Ace custom when it debuted at Ace Café USA’s launch party held on the roof of the Peterson Automotive Museum last August. Powered by a fuel-injected 865cc Triumph twin housed in a frame based on the famous Norton Featherbed designed by Rex McCandless back in 1949, the Ace is a modern take on the classic Triton theme (Triumph power, Norton frame).

The build caught the attention of Naked Speed (formerly Café Racer TV), and will be featured in the next episode of Naked Speed when it airs on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 10 p.m. eastern, 9 p.m. central, on Velocity TV. We heard it run and it sounds great, and we can’t wait to learn more about the details of the build and see it in motion – we hope! — Richard Backus
