Winter is coming quickly, which means less riding, but more time for wrenching. Do you have a winter project lined up? If not, we've got a bike for you. This 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 comes to us from AmericanClassix.com, and it's ready for a little winter work.

The bike appears to be complete, minus mufflers, and in mostly original condition. It features the original tank and sidecovers, and they appear to still be wearing their original paint. The tail section has been repainted. The seller notes that the carburetors need a full rebuild, the forks need to be rebuilt, the wiring harness needs to be replaced, and it will need new tires, among other things. Still, the basics are there, and it has a California Certificate of Title.

Found on eBay: 1976 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing

This week's eBay find is a 1976 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing that looks to be in good condition and has us itching for more space in the garage. According to the seller, it's had just three caring owners and he believes the 14,223 miles showing on the odometer to be true and accurate.

According to the auction, the original Suler Yellow paintwork is shiny with no dents or scratches, the original seat is in good shape with no rips or tears, and the battery is just a year old. It does wear newer Progressive rear shocks, and the carbs have recently been cleaned, but they still need to be synchronized.

Found on eBay: 1978 Triumph Bonneville T140

We've highlighted the Triumph T140 Bonneville on these pages before, and we'll do it again. This week's search of eBay found a slick 1978 T140 Bonneville that's just a couple of tweaks away from being in perfect riding condition.

Our Under the Radar column highlighted the T140 back in the November/December 2006 issue of Motorcycle Classics, and it can be read here . We said it then, and we'll say it again. "The 1976-1980 Triumph T140V Bonnevilles are great rideable clasics and are much more affordable than their earlier counterparts."

According to the auction, lots of work has been done to this T140. The frame and all black parts have been powdercoated and most of the hardware is stainless. The tank and sidecovers have been painted by Don Hutchinson Cycle, and the paint scheme and color is the European version of the 1978 USA-only Brown Cow with the brown seat. It has new front and rear brake master cylinders and rotors, and the rear wheel has new spokes and a new rim. The bike wears new Dunlop tires front and rear, along with a new chain and sprockets, a totally new exhaust system with NOS mufflers, and new fork seals.

The bike will need a battery, and the master cylinder is new but leaking. The owner has a rebuild kit that comes along with the sale.
