Found on eBay: 1973 Triumph Trident T150V

t150

This week's eBay searching led us to one of the most well known of the British triples; the original Triumph Trident. The seller states that this T150V is an original, numbers-matching example. It's been upgraded with electronic ignition, newly rebuilt wheels, new Dunstall-style megaphones, rebuilt gauges and more.

More from the seller: "This has a three cylinder, 750cc motor with five speed gearbox. Engine runs real strong and smooth, easy to start. Clutch and gearbox are smooth and quiet too. Engine has electronic ignition. Wheels are newly rebuilt by Buchanan's with polished stainless spokes and polish alloy rims. Hubs are freshly polished too. Mufflers are new Dunstall style megaphones that sound great. Gauges are rebuilt and gauge holders are new. Has extra oil pressure gauge. Has new TT100 Dunlops front and rear. New rear sprocket and chain. New fuel lines on carbs. Bike is very clean, not a show bike but something you can be proud of and ride. A very good Trident."

Found on eBay: 1969 Honda CL350

cl350

Honda's Scrambler-style motorcycles from the late 1960s and early 1970s are neat little bikes that still make for great in-town transportation today, and one of our favorites is the CL350.

1968 was the first year for the CL350. This 1969 model looks to be in fine shape, and according to the seller, it is bone stock down to the ignition key. The chrome front fender also features a distinctive stock reflector. According to the auction, "Honda only put these on part of the 1969 production run for several of their street scramblers, and no one seems to know why.  Maybe they thought they were meeting some type of US Safety requirement then found it was not necessary and stopped. The instrument faces are clear, easy to read, its seat is in excellent condition; it is very supple and has no rips or tears. The very hard to find rubber fork covers are supple like new.  The sidecovers have excellent paint and badges."

Sounds like fun to us! To visit the auction for this Honda CL350, go here.

Found on eBay: 1977 BMW R100RS

silverr100rs

We've always thought that the R100RS is one of BMW's most appealing designs, and it's definitely one that always gets our attention.

Though we featured one in this same blog about a year ago (check out the Motosport Edition RS, one of just 200 made in Police White and Rennsport Red), our latest find was too good not to share.

A low production number model (the seller notes that the VIN is 618009, the 9th R100RS built in 1977). The bike has 65,000 miles on the clock and appears to be in fine shape, though it may need a bit of a tune-up.

Found on eBay: 1957 Harley-Davidson FL Police

hd fl panhead

Unusual and beautiful in its own way, this 1957 Harley-Davidson FL is a neat old Panhead that's ready for a new owner.

Originally a police motorcycle in Virginia, this FL appears to have been kept in quite nice shape over the years and was the recipient of a detailed restoration with many OEM and quality reproduction parts. According to the listing, the frame has never been cut or welded, and it was checked for straightness during the restoration process. The engine and transmission were gone through and anything that needed to be changed or rebuilt was taken care of and the bike has perfect matching crankcases.
