Found on eBay: Honda CR750

honda cr750

How rare is a Honda CR750? It depends on who you believe, but the answer is very rare, and the chances of ever seeing another for sale are quite slim. That's why we just had to share this piece of history with you this week.

This CR750 was fully restored and placed 3rd in its class at the 2008 Legend of the Motorcycle Concours d'Elegance in Half Moon Bay, Calif.

According to the auction, the bike was raced, then sat in Japan until 1995. Owner Yoshi Kasaka raced the bike in AHRMA vintage racing in 1996 and 1997. The bike features sand-cast Keihin CR29 carbs, aluminum connecting rods, magnesium rear brake and more. For more info the Honda CR750, visit the auction here.

Found on eBay: 1980 Laverda Mirage 1200

LaverdaMirage.jpg

It's not every day you come across a Laverda on eBay, as they often seem to trade hands between friends and super-enthusiasts. Though not as loved as the Jotas and some of the earlier Laverdas, the Mirage is an unusual bike, but still one we'd love to have in the garage.

According to the auction, the current owner has had the bike for three years, and it's being sold to reduce the size of a large collection. It has a new battery and appears to be in excellent condition.

Found on eBay: 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000

kz1000

Around here we like café racers, restored bikes, original bikes, customs, bobbers and sometimes even bikes that don't fit nicely into any one category like this 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000.

We're guessing it was a nice, stock KZ many years ago, before someone decided to add the Mikuni carbs, the Vance & Hines four-into-one exhaust (which is probably painfully loud for the street, unless it's got a serious baffle hiding inside of it), the extended swingarm and more. It's also been lowered (for that "bad boy look," it says) and it's missing its gauges, but it could be yours for a "Buy It Now" price of just $2,250, according to the auction. We can't decide if we love it or hate it, or even which modifications we'd keep and which we'd replace if it lived in our garage, but we can tell you it looks like fun.

Interested? Check out the auction for this Kawasaki here.
