Found on eBay: 1970 Honda CB750

hondacb750yellow2

While there are still lots of nice Honda CB750s out there, the ones that are nice and in original condition are getting few and far between. This 1970 model has just over 24,000 miles on it, but appears to be in lovely original condition, and wears its original paint, seat cover, exhaust pipes and more.

The chain batter and fuel petcock have been replaced, but the auction states that the engine has never been out of the frame. The carbs have been cleaned, and all the electrics are in good working order.

Some of the chrome is in less than desirable condition, but that’s something the new owner could have redone or leave to keep the bike original.

Found on eBay: 1971 Triumph Bonneville

yellowbonnie2

This week's eBay find is a good looking T120 Bonneville. Complete with the original paint and chrome, the seller is quite confident that the 5,500 miles the odometer shows are original and correct. Running and ready to go, this could be a heck of a deal.

According to the listing, the bike is in pretty good condition. The tank is clean, and there is a tear at the front of the seat. The listing does mention that the front fender has been “modified to include stiffening similar to what was used on later models.” From the photos, it’s hard to tell exactly how this was carried out.

The bike wears  new fork tubes, seals, “bushes,” cables, coils and a Boyer electronic ignition, along with new handlebars and rubber mounts, brake shoes front and rear, and new carb jets and needles.

Found on eBay: 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing

redgl1000
This week's eBay find is a first-year GL1000 Goldwing. It hasn't been restored and looks to be in very nice condition, and is a perfect candidate for someone who loves to both collect and ride great old bikes. It's rare to find one of these that is this nice and has so few miles.

With just 8,368 miles showing, this bike hasn't seen much use in the last 35 years, but it does appear to have received a good amount of care. The paint looks very good and appears to be original and the seat cover looks to be original and in pretty good shape. Personally, this is one we'd love to have sitting in the garage, fully serviced and ready to go at a moment's notice.

Found on eBay: 1969 Norton Commando S

commando-s-small

One of the rarer variants of the notorious Commando, the S model is effectively a Commando dressed as a scrambler. Few were sold still wearing all their “S” pieces, and this one looks to have the right gear.

According to the auction, it has the original S-model fenders and exhaust, along with a new chain, forks, fork seals, brakes, cables and more. It does wear a new speedometer, and the original mileage is unknown, but it looks to be in quite nice shape.
