I have a CB450 1970 model. Not charging. Can't seem to find a stator or alternator for it. Is there any way to put a later model electric charging system on it? Or, can anyone tell me what I should do to get it charging? Thanks

I had a '72 CL450 and it was reliable and fast enough for California roads, including the mountain twisties.
The only problem was when the shift rod which traverses the motor, snapped. In 5th gear. Easy to change though.
Joy ended with a T-bone into a drugged out cab driver.

I recently acquired a 1971 CB450, it runs but runs ruff. I would like to rebuild the engine and the transmission but I can not find anyone that has the parts. Do you guys sell parts or know where to get them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Mike
