I have a 2000 Royal Enfield which has developed a charging problem. I can only ride it a few blocks before the battery is drained and the engine won't run. I'm okay with a wrench, but not great at electrical work. I have replaced the battery, the stator, the rectifier and the regulator. I have traced every inch of wire looking for a short or an open. I just can't get the ammeter to go to the positive side. Any ideas would be deeply appreciated. Any recommendations for a qualified shop near NW Indiana?
