I've been a subscriber for a few years now and I must say that I'm more impressed with every isssue.Your articles are great, and your photography is fantastic! However, I would like to see more "how to" articles and please consider changing to a monthly magazine, two months is too long to wait for each issue.( I would gladly pay more for additional issues.) Even though I lean more toward Brittish iron I love anything on two wheels. I am currently refurbishing a 1973 750 Norton Commando and hope to have it on the road by spring. I am a big guy ( 6'4" 320 lbs) hence the name of "Big Displacement" and I find riding most bikes a little uncomfortable but, I can't give up my Norton or my other bikes," I have a Goldwing for those long rides." Keep up the good work!!!

t is an impressive magazine. Too bad it is so difficult for a classic bike magazine to make it here in the US. I know,I've tried with my Old Bike Journal and Indian Motorycle Illustrated magazines of the past. I wish the staff here good luck and look forward to reading more issues in the future.

Hey Buzz, I still have my old issues of OBJ as well. I also have several years worth of your American Iron mag from when I owned an HD, but I got way tired of the current cruiser scene and had to get out of it for awhile. Besides, the sportbike racing bug is too expensive to also have money tied up in such expensive bikes! I've been forced to buy the British mags to get my vintage fix but Mr. Backus' magazine has really come on strong of late. Keep up the great work!

Wanted to add my dittos to Richard also for the fine magazine. To enjoy a magazine to the point of mentally trying to figure what day it hits the mailbox is a joy indeed. And to Buzz also, felt the same way about Indian Illustrated. It's easy to tell when a real enthusiast is putting together a magazine. Richard, if 12 issues a year isn't possible...have you ever considered 9 ? Nothing says a publication can only be 4, 6, or 12. Outside the box....and all that stuff... Best of luck and continued success.

Plus 1 on the magazine. Every time I get an issue I start looking for an old bike to put back together. The bikes MC Classics finds to share with it's readers are just awsome as are the people behind the bikes. I got a big kick out of the Harleyton article in the last issue as well as the guy that had the Harley for something like 70 plus years. That has got to be some kind of record. Right now I don't have that old bike to put back together but I'm looking and dreaming. Keep 'em coming. We are out here ready to soak 'em up.

Hey cmore, all ... Haven't been responding because, ironically, there's a problem with the forum software that keeps me from being able to log on and reply!! I finally realized I could reply by going inside the web software we use and working that way. Anyway, lots more coming, and great fun to see that Buzz is checking in and commenting on things. Buzz probably doesn't remember, but one of the first bike articles I ever wrote was for one of his titles many years ago. And he's right, it's hard, but fortunately we're getting very strong support from readers and advertisers alike. And cmore, there are lots of cheap bikes out there just waiting for you to put them back together. True, it's harder and harder finding a real classic these days for small money, but it can still be done. I suppose the real trick is deciding what you consider classic. I don't consider a 1984 Suzuki Madura to be one, but I do think a 1984 GPz is, and they can be found, along with plenty of other interesting iron.

Allow me to echo my congratulations on a fine publication, Richard.
I've been a subscriber since the start, it pains me to admit that I lost/misplaced, etc. my Sept/Oct 2008 issue. I take for granted that back issues are still available.
Keep up the great work.

Good news! I found my "lost" issue in my work truck this morning. Seems it found its way under a stack of papers. I sure didn't want to lose those stunning pictures of that T140ES.
Wouldn't it be fantastic if some of the pictures were available on the Web site for download? I don't mean some thumbnail size but a huge size suitable for wallpapers! 1920x1680 is just a good start, even larger would be fine by me.

Hey Nate
I'm hoping that possibility isn't too far off. We're in the process of setting up a dedicated server to process images for Motorcycle Classics and the other titles we produce here, and one of the possible advantages will be exactly what you're asking about, i.e., the ability to download files of real size. The way it works now, as you clearly appreciate, the pics we upload to the site are all pretty small files so we don't crash our web server. Anyway, we'll see, and you'll know if and when it comes to fruition.

The only issue of Motorcycle Classics I have that I didn't recieve through my subscription is the first one. After forty years of riding I decided to subscribe to my first motorcycle magazine and this was it. Smart move on my part. "Good things come to he who waits". I've been thinking that this website needs attention. But if it distracts from putting out the magazine I can wait. I can wait a long time.

Richard, how's that picture download coming along? Once again, thanks for another fine issue. I read the Trident article this noon. Adding the historical perspective is the most fascinating part of each article to me--why certain decisions were made, what the outcome of those decisions was, who was involved, etc. Keep 'em coming!

Richard, I was one of the first posters on these forums and have also had numerous problems logging in as well and had to change my user name 3-4 times now. Today however all seems well though so maybe thats taken care of and we'll see more topics and members coming here. It would sure be great to have a lot of folks here and lots of great topics im sure. At any rate ill echo everyone else when i say LOVE the mag. By FAR the greatest pics and articles and the ONLY mag I read cover to cover. Last issue was GREAT and even though Im not big into Harleys I loved the Vintage Harley and Indian racrers article!! Id love to see more how-to's as well, and lots more of the AVERAGE "barn find" types restored to everyday riders type articles. Nothing against those who do own them, and Im sure they are great bikes as well but Ill never be able to afford to own a Norton, Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Ducati or the like more than likely, but more concentratiing on bringing these older (early 70-mid 80) UJM's back to the road would be great and Im sure more appealing to a wider range of us "just common folk" that dont have a lot of $$ to spend but that DO enjoy bikes, and DO buy these older UJM's and enjoy getting them going again. Just a suggestion as I really do love the mag, so please dont take it in a bad way. Best Wishes, Randy
