We're not sure why, but this week's eBay wandering led us to several Harley-Davidson Sprints, the nicest of which is this 1967 250cc Sprint. Manufactured by Aermacchi in Italy, these bikes are an interesting chapter in the history of Harley-Davidson, and are actually great vintage machines for back-road riding.
This 1967 Sprint has the European-style Ala Verde tank, which, according to the auction, was not brought in to the U.S. on regular Sprints, but it could be ordered as an option on the 1967 Sprint H, and reads just 4,206 miles on the odometer. Though the bike has not been run in several years, it apears to be in good shape and to be quite original.
