8 Helmets you'll want to wear...
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Aermacchi article in the November/December 2007 issue. I had a 1967 250cc Aermacchi. I bought it in Phoenix, rode it for several years and finally sold it in Denver. It handled better than any other bike I ever owned, and was as reliable as a Zippo! It was, however, not a machine for long trips. The Phoenix to Tucson run could really wear you down! The Yamaha dealer who sold it to me called it a “piglet,” and worse, most H-D dealers were disdainful of it and of providing any services or parts.

Fun at Barber
I just wanted to drop you a line thanking you for a great weekend at the Barber Vintage Festival. It started out with a tremendous morning ride through some beautiful country roads. The weather was great and the staff was excellent and most hospitable, from the sign-in procedure, the riders instruction, breakfast, gas stops and right through to the last mile.
What I am really grateful for is the opportunity this event gave me to share my passion for motorcycles with my son and daughter. Riding with them this weekend was an experience I will not soon forget, and I certainly hope I get the chance to repeat it every year.
Again, I would like to say thank you to Motorcycle Classics for taking the time to put on this ride and to let you know how much I enjoy your magazine.

Roy,
We’re glad you and your family were able to come down and join us. Good weather, good people and great roads made for another memorable year at Barber. Thanks for coming, and we look forward to seeing you and all the readers who can attend Barber next year. — Ed.
