Time has a nasty habit of flying by — and you really know it’s flying when the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows start making their annual appearance. This year’s roster of shows marks the 27th in the series, making this the biggest and longest-running public event in the U.S. for motorcycle manufacturers and suppliers.

From its first show in Phoenix this October to its last in Chicago next February, the IMS takes in 13 major cities across the U.S. In addition to getting to check out all the new bikes from folks like Moto Guzzi, Suzuki and Harley-Davidson, attendees get a chance to inspect a mother lode of aftermarket motorcycle equipment available from specialty manufacturers and suppliers from around the country. Gear on hand includes everything from the latest in new helmets and jackets to aftermarket exhaust systems and other go-fast goodies.
Motorcycle Classics will be there, too, taking in the Nov. 16-18, 2007 show in San Mateo, Calif., and the Dec. 7-9, 2007 show in Long Beach, Calif. To make this event even better, we’ve teamed up with Jared Zaugg and Brooke Roner, the creative force behind the spectacular Legend of the Motorcycle Concours d’Elegance held in Half Moon Bay, Calif. In two short years, Zaugg and Roner have created an event that sets new standards for motorcycle concours, and with their help we’ll be displaying a tasty cross-section of spectacular classic motorcycle eye candy.
Plans call for a Vincent Black Lightning, a Crocker Big Tank, an MV Agusta Super America, an Excelsior Four, plus a classic selection of Triumphs, Hondas, Kawasakis and other fab bikes to be on display. Don’t miss the show, and don’t miss our display at the San Mateo and Long Beach events. Be there — or be square! MC
