The 10th annual Barber Vintage Festival presented by Triumph Dealers of North America finished up Sunday, October 12, at Barber Motorsports Park outside Birmingham, Alabama, setting an event attendance record of 65,365 for the three-day weekend.  Vintage motorcycle fans from 48 states and nine countries purchased tickets for the fastest growing vintage motorcycle festival in the country.

“This event continues to amaze us with how much it grows each year,” said Gene Hallman, CEO of ZOOM Motorsports, exclusive event promoter of Barber Motorsports Park.  “We have had such great feedback from the fans again this year and are already working on how to make next year’s event even better.  I want to thank the Triumph Dealers of North America and all of the fans who traveled thousands and thousands of miles to spend the weekend with us here at the finest road course in North America.”

The event also saw one of the largest gatherings of Vincent motorcycles ever witnessed in the U.S., with an estimated 50 Vincents on hand for festival goers to examine including Gunga Din, the test bed for the Black Shadow and Black Lightning. Organized by Vincent specialist and enthusiast Somer Hooker, the special Hillbilly Vincent Owners rally at the festival drew an astonishing selection of important Vincents including Gene Brown’s 1932 Python-powered HRD and several racing specials only recently discovered and displayed for the first time.
