Found on eBay: Custom 1975 BMW R90S

Tags: ,

One of the coolest bikes on eBay this week is this highly customized 1975 BMW R90S. Complete with a front fairing from a Ducati 900SS, Tarozzi clip-ons and rearsets, VDO gauges and more, this is one custom job we'd be proud to own.

Listed by Motogrotto, a BMW restoration shop in Easton, Penn., the bike is certainly not your normal R90S. According to the auction, it is a numbers-matching bike with 33,000 miles, and it's just been the proud recipient of a fresh valve job with Black Diamond valves, valve guides, springs and keepers, a new sealed battery, Avon tires, rebuilt brakes, stainless steel brake lines, new Dunstall-style mufflers and fresh fluids throughout. It still runs the stock R90S suspension and engine, but now sports pod-style air filters on the carbs for better breathing. Overall, it looks like a slick build, and one we'd love to have around for Sunday morning breakfast runs.
