We run into a lot of great classic Hondas and BMWs when searching eBay, but this week our favorite listing is a lovingly-maintained Kawasaki KZ1000 MKII. With just a little over 24,000 original miles, it's had the care a good bike deserves, and it's ready for a new owner.
This particular bike was produced in Febuary of 1979. The cousin of the more sport-oriented Kawasaki Z1-R, it shares the same double-walled downtube frame, but features a larger gas tank allowing for it to be an even better tourer.
According to the auction, this is a two-owner bike that has featured a host of upgrades over the years. It wears a Travelcade stepped seat, Kerker baffled header, a shorter front fender and a custom chrome chainguard. It was recently repainted jet black, the entire front end was rebuilt with all new seals and more. It has new tires, swingarm bearings and much more.
