Found on eBay: 1974 Bultaco Alpina
By Landon Hall
This week we decided to look for something a bit more unusual than your normal vintage Honda or BMW. Instead we decided on this lovely 1974 Bultaco Alpina.
A two-stroke, 350cc dual-sport, this Alpina appears to be mostly stock, aside from the rear shocks. The swingarm has also been modified, as the bottom shock mount has been moved forward of the standard location.
According to the auction, the current owner has had the bike since 2006, and has kept it inside in a climate-controlled location, riding it just a few times per year. He says it works perfectly, and is selling many of his vintage motorcycles. The bike comes with a bill of sale, but no title.
Though he doesn’t list much more info about the bike, he does list a phone number where he can be reached if you have questions. Curious?

Somewhere along the line, Tridents have gotten a reputation as dogs — slow, unresponsive dogs. But not this one, built by Scott Dunlavey.
