Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2008 Inductees

 The Motorcycle Hall of Fame, home to the stories and legends of American motorcycling heritage, is pleased to announce the selection of six individuals for induction.  The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class of 2008 includes Vaughn Beals, Rod Coates, Scot Harden, Larry “Supermouth” Huffman, Terry Poovey and Rolf Tibblin. 


Records Tumble In Bonhams’ $4-MILLION-plus Motorcycle Sale

Bonhams celebrated its best ever motorcycle sale at the Classic MotorCycle Show in Stafford on April 27, 2008, achieving several world record prices in a storming sale that realized $4,188,081 (£2,112,099). This is the highest ever total for any UK motorcycle sale.

 William Hornaman, Erie, Pa., is the lucky winner in the Motorcycle Classics giveaway for a pair of tickets to the 3rd Annual Legend of the Motorcycle Concours d’Elegance in Half Moon Bay, Calif. And proving that you don’t have to be first to be, well, first, William didn’t register until the last hour of the last day of the contest. “Hell, I never win anything,” William tells us, defending his procrastination.

The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington, Ohio, the country’s premier showcase of motorcycling heritage and history, has revealed the names of more than 25 significant personalities and groups to be featured in the upcoming “MotoStars: Celebrities + Motorcycles” exhibit.
