2013 Barber Vintage Festival
Join us for the Motorcycle Classics/Dairyland Cycle Vintage Motorcycle Show at the 9th Annual Barber Vintage Festival. Our featured class this year will be BMW motorcycles, honoring BMW’s 90th anniversary. We expect a rich assortment of BMWs at our show, where we’ll award our top honor for the Best BMW along with trophies in five other categories. Winners will be chosen by a panel of celebrity judges including Barber’s own Brian Slark! Even if you don’t want to compete for a trophy, if you ride a BMW you’re invited to park it at our tent and mingle with the BMW faithful.
The Motorcycle Classics Vintage Motorcycle Show at the 9th Annual Barber Vintage Festival will be held in the Expo Area on the south side of the Barber track. The show begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 12, and the award ceremony starts at 3:00 p.m. Motorcycle Classics Vintage Motorcycle Show trophies will be awarded in the following categories:
- Best BMW (Featured Marque)
- Best British – Best Restored & Best Rider
- Best American – Best Restored & Best Rider
- Best European – Best Restored & Best Rider
- Best Japanese – Best Restored & Best Rider
- Best Custom – Best Restored & Best Rider
- People’s Choice
The show is open to all 1988 and older model year motorcycles. We encourage participants to arrive early for set up. Registration opens at 10 a.m., Friday, October 11 and again at 8 a.m., Saturday, October 12. The show begins at 10 a.m. Judging starts at 2:00 p.m., followed by our award ceremony beginning at 3:00 p.m. An entry fee of $30 is required at registration and includes a 1-year subscription to Motorcycle Classics and a Motorcycle Classics T-shirt.
