The MSS “S” originally used a Amal TT carb, but the VeloStar uses a 32mm Amal Concentric.

The beating heart of the VeloStar is an MSS 500 type “S” as used in Velocette’s motocross bikes mated to a close ratio 4-speed gearbox.
