Especially handy for overhead cam engines with deep spark plug tunnels, these magnetic sockets simplify spark plug removal and installation. Unlike O-ring-type sockets that tend to get oily and worn out to the point they’ll no longer secure the spark plug, these magnetic sockets will always hold onto the spark plug and are easy to remove once the plug’s installed.
