From quality motorcycle cleaners to cool motorcycle trailers, here are six cool products every classic motorcycle fan needs to know about:
S100 Care Set
If you’ve never used S100’s superior motorcycle cleaning products, here’s the perfect way to introduce yourself to the line. The S100 Care Set features five of S100’s top-selling items, including S100’s aerosol Detail & Wax for waterless, light cleaning chores, spray-on, hose-off Total Cycle Cleaner, aerosol engine and chrome Corrosion Protectant, Total Cycle Finish Restorer cream for metal (takes mild scratches out of plastic, too), an S100 Drying Towel and a sponge applicator. $54.95.
Parabellum Triumph Scrambler Windshield
New from Parabellum is this touring windshield for late-model Triumph Scramblers. Made from D.O.T.-approved 5mm-thick military aircraft grade cast acrylic for superior strength and optical clarity, it fits securely using stainless-steel struts that mount directly to the handlebar clamps and bottom mounts that attach to the headlight bolts. The Sport Touring shield is 18.5 inches wide and comes in three different heights depending on rider needs. Clear, $259; Tint, $269.
Gasolina Suit Motorcycle Boots
Here’s a cool idea from Gasolina — motorcycle boots that double as dress shoes. Worn with a pair of slacks, they look like a standard pair of laced brown dress shoes, perfectly appropriate for the office or other semi-formal duty. But worn with riding pants tucked in they take on the look of a pair of classic riding boots, with twin buckles securing the upper section of the boot, giving full protection to your lower legs. Soft leather lined, with real rubber soles. $179.
Cycleport Storage Motorcycle Trailer
Need a secure storage unit for your bike that you can also tow if you need to? Tennessee-based Cycleport has introduced an interesting product that does just that. Measuring 5’ high by 5’ wide by 10’ long, it’s big enough to hold most motorcycles. Features include an integrated wheel chock, interior storage shelf and a swing-up rear door with gas struts. Importantly, it’s sized to fit a standard 5’ x 8’ utility trailer, so you can load it and tow it, or simply use it as a free-standing storage unit. $2,950.
Tyre Guardian Motorcycle Tire Puncture Protection
Developed in Australia, where riders often have to travel miles without benefit of civilized support, Tyre Guardian is a non-toxic, natural rubber-based solution designed to seal punctures up to 1/4-inch in size. The manufacturer says the solution will not harm wheels, and in fact extends tire life by sealing tires against porosity for consistent pressure. A 250ml bottle will treat both tires on most motorcycles and adds only 1.5 pounds. $29.95.
Turtle Hull Motorcycle Trailers
Weighing a svelte 150 pounds empty, the Turtle Hull Trailer is an excellent way to haul your camping gear behind that old GL. The frame is powder coated square-tube steel, and the body and fenders are hand-laid fiberglass. Storage capacity is 14-cubic-feet, enough to hold your camping necessities, some tools and more. Cargo capacity is 300 pounds and the trailer rides on a torsion axle suspension for smooth towing. Starting at $2,997.
