Introducing a fully refreshed line of cold weather gloves by REV’IT! With over a dozen new men’s and women’s styles to choose from, riders in every class will be able to find the perfect level of warmth, protection and grip.
Design details: Warmth
The design starting point for each glove was warmth. To deliver a glove capable of keeping riders warm and comfortable throughout the winter, at least one layer of additional insulation and one layer of waterproofing material were necessary.
Wet hands mean cold hands. That’s why we added high-quality GORE-TEX® and hydratex® membranes into the new line, for 100-percent waterproofing and breathability.
Next, our designers looked to materials with excellent warmth-to-weight ratios. Both Thinsulate® and Primaloft® — thin, highly insulating materials considered the best in their classes — were added to prevent loss of handlebar control due to cold fingers or a lack of dexterity.
Design details: Grip
Understanding how to deliver precise control of the handlebar is essential to creating a safe glove, especially in cold, wet winter climates.
Materials’ compositions highly influence the level of dexterity afforded to the rider. The compact and efficient insulating materials inside the gloves, alongside the GORE-TEX® grip construction ensure the various layers of the glove work together as one.
To increase handlebar feel, a goatskin with diamond texture has been added as reinforcement on the new gloves, for maximum safety and control.
Design details: Protection
In case of a crash, the hands are the most likely to make first contact with the road surface — which means good coverage is paramount. With this in mind, REV’IT! designers have used our own SEESOFT™ protection for impact energy absorption, and all outer materials have been selected for their high levels of abrasion resistance and durability.
