Vintage shock absorbers
Australian Ikon Suspension, which assumed manufacture of Koni motorcycle shocks in 2001 (Ikon is an anagram of Koni), has introduced a new line of shock absorbers for bikers on a budget. Based on Ikon’s popular 76 series, the new Basix line has been tailored to riders of vintage Japanese and European motorcycles. Built to the same standards as Ikon’s more expensive shocks, the Basix feature chrome-plated bodies, fixed-rate damping, 3-position preload adjustment and black powder-coated progressive rate springs. $250 a pair and up.
