Little is known about this motorcycle as it was never raced or seen outside of the eastern European countries, but we know that the motor was designed for CZ by Jaroslov Walter, his name is cast into the timing cover. This machine is very similar to the 1950 Norton Manx model, a sure sign of flattery, and a good one to copy. CZ was better known in the U.S. for their Motocross machines of the 1960s and 1970s.
