The 31st Annual Dana Point Concours d’Elegance broke attendance records on Sunday, June 23, as thousands made their pilgrimage to Southern California’s premier collector car and motorcycle event held at the oceanfront Monarch Beach Golf Links, adjacent St. Regis Monarch Beach. Visitors enjoyed a fine art exhibition, vintage aircraft flyover and nearly 240 collector cars and motorcycles before judges crowned a 1933 Packard Series 1005 Convertible Coupe owned by Aaron Weiss of San Marino, Calif. as “Best of Show.” One of the most recognizable personalities in the collector car hobby, Meguiar’s president and “Car Crazy” television host, Barry Meguiar, received the 2013 Automotive Icon Award.

The Orange County Collector Car and Motorcycle Week which features the Concours, hot rod show, reception and a rally at Camp Pendleton, collectively hosted approximately 15,000 guests across the multi-day event. This celebration not only saluted our automotive heritage, but also the U.S. Marine Corps.
