The Santa Fe Trail Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA) will host its 5th Annual Mid-Winter Vintage Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, Kansas. Trophies will be awarded in 10 classes including Best of Show, with a special Competition Trophy in American, Asian, European and British classes. Entries must be 35 years old or older to qualify. Bike entry is $10 each for the first two, with the third bike free, but limited to three. Vendors are encouraged for this indoor show, which will be held rain, shine or snow! Vendor spaces are only $25 and show admission is a mere $5 for adults, with children under 12 admitted free and AMCA members with card and member of the military in uniform admitted free.

This show keeps getting bigger and better every year, so if you’re anywhere in the greater Kansas City area shake off those winter blues and come hang out with like-minded vintage bike fans and enjoy the great motorcycles that will be on hand. Past years have seen an impressive range of bikes, including Henderson, Indian and Excelsior, and BSA, Norton and Triumph.
