A Brief History of the Motorcycle at UMKC
A motorcycle history course is being presented at the University of Missouri in Kansas City by KC VJMC president Dr. Mark H. Bayer.

Course description: Nearly 20 percent of Americans have been involved in motorcycling but few know much about the history of the sport. In this class we will give an overview of the history of the motorcycle to ride the streets of Kansas City, the O.J. Plummer. Dr. Bayer will also have a local motorcycle historian with him, Jay Wilson. there is just one session of this seminar – Tuesday June 25, 2013, 7-8 p.m. at Royall Hall, room 202 on the UMKC Campus, 52nd Street between Rockhill and Holmes.
