Mecum’s Las Vegas motorcycle auction returns to South Point February 3-6, 2027. Book your slots early to take advantage of pre-auction marketing and promotions.
Each and every year for the past 36 years running, the annual Mecum Las Vegas motorcycle auction has turned Sin City into a mecca for motorcycling enthusiasts. Consignors, bidders and passionately devoted fans and followers from all over the world flock to the event to take part in what has long been the globe’s largest gathering of its kind.
For most attendees, its purpose and significance goes far beyond mere buying and selling. Mecum’s Las Vegas motorcycle auction is an opportunity to get an up-close and in-person look at some of the rarest and most significant motorcycles in the world, and it’s become a place where like minds join together in a shared state of reverie, entirely enveloped in the camaraderie and community that comes from a mutual appreciation for these dream-worthy machines.
This February 3-6, Mecum will return to South Point Hotel & Casino to do it all over again, this time hosting an estimated 2,000 motorcycles in total, all of which will cross the auction block throughout the four-day event. With just a handful of months until the auction kicks off, consignments are now being accepted, and positions are filling up fast.
Historically, the auction has begun to reach capacity as early as November, with savvy consignors booking their slots early in order to take advantage of the plethora of pre-auction marketing and promotions that Mecum employs. Plus, early consignments get the lion’s share of attention from prospective buyers, with prominent placement on Mecum’s high-traffic website, including a full slate of high-resolution imagery and detailed information about each bike to be sold.
The halo effect of this auction is very real, and very worth taking advantage of. In 2026, the auction produced multiple world-record results, including the sale of the most valuable Japanese motorcycle ever sold at auction: a 1968 Honda CB750 Prototype that brought $313,500. The event also saw a record-setting 1935 Indian Chief cross the block, ultimately selling for $187,000. In 2025, Mecum’s record-breaking momentum in Las Vegas was fueled by another historic sale, when a 1915 Cyclone V-Twin sold for $1.32 million and became the most valuable motorcycle ever sold at auction.
With consignment positions now open for the 2027 event, collectors have the opportunity to add their motorcycles to a lineup that is quickly building to become another landmark Las Vegas auction. Don’t wait any longer to claim your place on this world stage.
