Motorcycle historian Mark Bayer will once again offer his course “A Brief History of the Motorcycle” on July 26, 2016, at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Bayer, president of the KC VJMC, has been offering the course for several years. The course description states:

“The motorcycle has been around for over 115 years, yet few people know much about its development. Most motorcycle riders themselves are illiterate when it comes to motorcycle history. This class will outline the development and impact of the motorcycle in the U.S. and will also include information about the first motorcycle to ride the streets of Kansas City, the O.J. Plummer motorcycle. This interactive class will cover a wide range of topics which should be informative and interesting. Please come and join in on the discussion.”
