Upcoming Vintage Motorcycle Shows and Events May/June 2013

May 4

The 5th Quail Motorcycle Gathering returns to the Quail
Lodge in Carmel, Calif. This year’s event showcases the 20th
anniversary of the Ducati Monster, along with all the regular show classes. The
show runs from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

May 17

The 14th Annual Riding Into History returns to the World Golf Village in St.
Augustine, Fla. Ride
there with Grand Marshals Buzz Kanter and Dale Walksler in the Vintage
Motorcycle Kickstart Classic Ride May 15th and 16th. The Grand Marshal’s
Historic Lunch Ride and dinner are on Friday, followed by the Concours
d’Elegance on Saturday.

May 18

Head to Hanford,
Calif., for the 45th Annual
Hanford Vintage Motorcycle Rally featuring a classic motorcycle show, a vintage
parts exchange and sale corral, and 150-plus vendors. Camping in swap space and
RV hookups.

June 7

Head to Road America
in Elkhart Lake, Wis., for the Road America Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 7-9 for AHRMA road racing, motocross, cross-country
and trials competitions. Motorcycle Classics will be there again hosting
the Ride & Show, which is open to all bikes 1993 and older.

June 8

Visit Anamosa, Iowa, for the National Motorcycle Museum’s 3rd Annual Vintage Rally, June 8-9. A swap meet, a vintage bike show on
Saturday, and a Sunday morning ride.

June 9

The 22nd Annual Heart of America Motorcycle Enthusiasts Vintage Motorcycle Rally & Show will feature more than 100 vintage bikes
inside the Airline History Museum
at the Charles B.
Wheeler Downtown
Airport in Kansas City, Mo.
This year’s rally will celebrate the Seventies Superbike.

June 14

Don’t miss the Rhinebeck (N.Y.) Grand National Super Meet
June 14-15, where Louis “Rocket” Re will jump his American Eagle Laverda over
13 cars.
