MidAmerica Auctions Presents the Premier Motorcyclepedia Museums Spring Festival and Antique Motorcycle Auction Saturday, May 19, 2012, with Special Guest Barbara McQueen! 100 antique and special interest motorcycles available for the auction. MidAmerica Auctions will display an eclectic, exclusive collection of 100 antique and special interest motorcycles up for auction featuring a 1953 Vincent Series C Black Shadow and others from BMW, BSA, Harley Davidson, Indian, Triumph, and many more!
The event is to be held at the Motorcyclepedia Museum equipped with two authentic operating motorcycle motordromes, and showcases over 400 of the world’s rarest antique and classic motorcycles. Outside the museum, there will be local vendors and pet adoptions from Rescue Ink of the National Geographic Channel.
Barbara McQueen will be available to greet fans, share stories of her life with Steve McQueen, and sign copies of her book, “Steve McQueen: The Last Mile”, a photographic record of the behind-the-scenes pleasures and enthusiasms she shared with Steve as well as Steve McQueen: A Tribute to the King of Cool and McQueen The Actor and his Films, to which she made contributions. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 3 -12, and under 3 are free.
