The Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA) will debut a new national meet with the AMCA Lucas Oil Vintage Motorcycle Classic at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, May 27-29, 2016. The three-day event will include tech seminars, vintage bike shows, AMCA and peer judging, motorcycle field games, children’s games — in a word, all the things that make any AMCA National Meet a great place to meet and mix with fellow motorcyclists.
The AMCA Lucas Oil Vintage Motorcycle Classic here will also include a large swap meet, with vendors offering vintage bike parts, bikes and memorabilia. Barber Motorsports Park offers a unique setting for this new AMCA event, an 800-plus acre park that includes the world famous Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and its collection of 700-plus motorcycles, and one of the finest race tracks in the country, a 2-1/2-mile circuit that winds its way through 15 turns. The May 27-29 event kicks off what’s certain to become an annual must-attend event. We advise making hotel and motel arrangements now. Don’t miss this, it’s going to be fantastic!
