Randy Brown’s BMW R90/6 Café was just one of the gorgeous machines in attendance at the 2007 Motorcycle Classics show at the Barber Vintage Festival.
Another great weekend of classic motorcycles is coming up fast! In just a little more than three weeks, we’ll be in Birmingham, Ala,. for the Barber Vintage Festival, and to kick it off, we’re hosting a dinner ride on Friday afternoon, Oct. 17. Come join us!
Registration starts at 1:15 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the Barber Motorsports Museum, and the ride will depart promptly at 2 p.m. The leisurely, 60-mile ride will run through the beautiful Alabama back country, with a stop for a late lunch/early dinner at the 29 Dreams Motorcycle Resort. The ride donation is $30 or $35 per rider (the extra $5 donation nets you a rib basket instead of a cheeseburger basket at 29 Dreams. Mmm… ribs…) We expect to return to the Barber Motorsports Park around 6 p.m. As always, all proceeds benefit Camp Smile-A-Mile, Alabama’s program for children with cancer and their families.
Saturday morning, Oct. 18, the fun continues with Motorcycle Classics Bike Show East. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with judging beginning at 3 p.m. and the awards presentation at 4:30 p.m. Our honorary judge for the show will be John Landstrom of Blue Moon Cycles.
