Planning to attend the 11th Annual Barber Vintage Festival? The biggest event on the classic bike calendar happens Oct. 9-11, 2015, and that means you only have a few weeks left to register to win the Santiago Chopper and Motorcycle Classics Charity Bike Build benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Founded by actor Danny Thomas in 1962, the hospital focuses on the prevention and cure of diseases in children. The moving force behind the charity drive is Florida-based Dime City Cycles, which teamed up with acclaimed custom bike builder Alan Bernard of Santiago Chopper to craft the bike and Motorcycle Classics to promote the charity drive. For the build, Bernard supplied the torch and wrenching skills and DCC the parts and the bike, a BMW R90 that has received the full café treatment at Bernard’s Tampa, Florida, shop. The finished R90 café racer will be given away during the 11th Annual Barber Vintage Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, with all proceeds collected going to St. Jude’s.
Registering is easy. Just click here to go to Dime City’s Bike Giveaway website and enter to win. See you at Barber!
