Vintage dirt bike racing and riding comes alive at the All Brands Motorcycle Event at McKee’s Sky Ranch in Terra Alta, West Virginia, July 23-26, 2015. This will mark the fourth year for AHRMA racing at McKee’s Sky Ranch, a 200-acre dirt bike refuge located deep in the mountains of West Virginia. The site, which features a landing field for small planes, is owned and operated by vintage bike enthusiast and former motocross racer Tom McKee.

Sponsored by the West Virginia Division of Tourism, the Greater Morgantown Convention  and Visitors Bureau, the West Virginia Motorcycle Safety Program and AHRMA, the fourth annual event at McKee’s Sky Ranch will feature two days of AHRMA National Vintage and Post Vintage Motocross competitions, and Cross Country races. Non-racers itching for some dirt time can participate in a dual-sport ride, while riders who prefer turning their wheels on the pavement can opt for a road run. New for 2015 is a three-hour “adventure ride,” tailor-made for modern ADV bikes and featuring mostly dirt and gravel back roads. There’s also an old-fashioned field meet, and the West Virginia Motorcycle Safety Program folks will have a riding simulator on hand, as well.

The weekend will include a swap meet, a vintage bike display, motorcycle art by John Panek, plus a photo exhibit by Karl Jarvis. Entry is only $10 a day, or $30 for the entire weekend. If you like vintage dirt racing, don’t miss this event. More info at the Mckee’s Sky Ranch website or AHRMA. MC
