America’s Car Museum is Calling all Chris’ on Columbus Day
Visitors with ‘Chris’ in their first or last name get discounts off admission Oct. 8

TACOMA, Wash. (October 1, 2012) – Most people don’t know Christopher Columbus cruised around in a ’92 Pinto. Befittingly, LeMay – America’s Car Museum (ACM) is giving visitors with “Chris” in their first or last name a chance to sail through the museum for half-price on Columbus Day.
In honor of Christopher Columbus, LeMay – America’s Car Museum is offering half-price museum tickets to individuals with “Chris” in their names.
“Christopher Columbus and automobiles…now that’s American,” said Scot Keller, ACM chief marketing and communications officer. “So if you’re a Chris, Christina, Chrissie, Christine or Christian, Monday’s a great chance to discover our museum at a special price. Adults get half off and kids (ages 12 and under) get in free.”
Participants of all ages are required to show a form of identification (driver’s license, student ID, library card, etc.) to get the discount before exploring the museum’s exhibits, which include the Cars of Harold LeMay, Ferrari in America, British Invasion of the ’60s, Indy Racing, Classic Car Era and other treasures.
