May 14
The 3rd edition of the Quail Motorcycle Gathering, along with the Bonhams & Butterfields Auction, returns to Carmel, Calif. The show runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the auction immediately following. A special feature honoring the 100th anniversary of the Isle of Man TT Races will be on display, along with the displays by leading motorcycle manufacturers, dealerships and more. New for 2011 is the optional full concours judging for those enthusiasts interested in entering a motorcycle and competing for the coveted “blue ribbon” in their class. The 12th annual Riding Into History returns to the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla. This year’s event will feature the Best of Europe, and Kevin Schwantz will be the Grand Marshall. Visit www.ridingintohistory.org.

June 5
Visit the 20th Heart of America Motorcycle Enthusiasts Bike Rally and Show, sponsored by Motorcycle Classics. This cool indoor event will feature more than 100 vintage motorcycles on display inside the great old hangar that is the Airline History Museum at the Charles B.
