<p>For the first 59 years of the world-renowned <a title=”Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance” href=”http://www.pebblebeachconcours.net/” target=”_blank”>Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance</a>, the closest a vintage motorcycle could get to the show grounds was the parking lot. But in 2009, that changed in a big way as collectible vintage motorcycles were finally invited to populate the lawn alongside the world’s finest collectible cars. </p>

As the classic bikes exhibited there illustrate, it didn’t take long for the event to become a premier showcase of the world’s most collectible vintage motorcycles, just as it’s been for classic cars for the past 60 years.
