New Hampshire-based Rick’s Motorsports Electrics now has an upgraded four-brush starter to fit 1979-1983 4-cylinder Hondas including the CB750C, F, K, L, and SC Nighthawk, the CB900F, CB1000C and CB1100F. Although there are still countless numbers of these Hondas on the road, the original unit has long ago been discontinued by Honda. Rick’s says their new permanent magnet four-brush starter is superior to Honda’s original field excited two-brush starter, providing better starter performance. Comes with a one-year warranty. $220.
