After two years off, we’re super excited to see the return of one of the coolest, fanciest and most entertaining motorcycle events of the year, as The Quail Motorcycle Gathering takes to the lush green lawns of the Quail Lodge in Carmel, California, on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Along with all the normal categories, this year’s featured classes include the Harley-Davidson XR750, the BMW /5 Series, 2-strokes, mini bikes and for the first time, a display-only class of hot rods and classic cars. More than 350 bikes will be on the lawn, along with vendors and exhibitors, motorcycle manufacturers, and, as always, a gourmet lunch.

Paul d’Orleans will return as MC for the event, and Roland Sands will be in attendance, as he has been nominated as the Quail’s 2022 Legend of the Sport. Check it out at bit.ly/quail22

Next up on the list of not-to-be missed events will be the return of our friends from The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA), Memorial Day weekend, to Topeka, Kansas.

After launching last year to rave reviews from both racers and spectators alike, AHRMA will host two more Classic Motofests this year, the first of which takes place at Heartland Motorsports Park (HMP) in Topeka, May 27-29.

This year the event will feature plenty of racing action, both on the track and in the dirt. Featured classes include vintage and modern road racing, along with motocross, cross country, flat track, trials and Saturday night drag racing on HMP’s NHRA-sanctioned 1/4-mile drag strip. Drag racing will feature five competition classes. There will be a swap meet open all weekend long, along with a bike show on Saturday, sponsored by Hagerty. For more info, visit ahrma.org.
